Marlene Bowers, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and
great-grandmother, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the
age of 81. Born on November 24, 1943, in Globe, Arizona, Marlene lived a
life dedicated to her family and passions.
Marlene was married to LaGene Bowers in February of 1968, beginning a partnership marked by love and commitment. Together, they raised their family, creating a nurturing environment that would be the foundation for many happy memories. Known for her vibrant personality, Marlene was an avid animal lover and a talented gardener, finding joy in tending to her plants and caring for animals. Her passions were indicative of her nurturing spirit and her ability to find beauty in the simplest of things.
Marlene is survived by her husband, LaGene Bowers, and their children: Wade Bowers of St. George, UT, Brian Bowers and his wife Veronica of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Jennifer Davy of Glendale, Arizona. She also leaves behind her cherished sisters, Fonda Brown of Egar, Arizona, and Brenda Merrill of Mesa, Arizona.
