Jerry Lee Bowers
Birth: Aug. 19, 1937 Anadarko, Caddo County. Oklahoma, USA
Death: Jun. 6, 2011 San Bernardino County, California, USA

He spent a major period of his career in the aircraft and space shuttle industry, including working on several NASA assignments with many successful missions in space.

He was personally pleased to meet with astronauts who flew into space and returned in craft that he helped produce.

He is survived by his daughters Kim Bowers, Darla Boots and Teresa Bowers and son Breck Bowers.

His parents and brother Harvey preceded him in death.

During his life and following his retirement, Jerry became a world traveler and was known to his friends as an expert handicapper in the field of thoroughbred horse racing.

A viewing was held at Miller-Jones Mortuary yesterday, and services will be held at 26770 Murrieta Road, Sun City, today, June 10, at 3 p.m.
