Fern Mae Bowen

Fern Mae Bowen
July 12, 1957 ~ January 15, 2012

Fern May Bowen, our beloved mom, was called home into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2012. She was born July 12, 1957 in Modesto, California to the late William McBride and Betty Tracey.

She was married to Jimmy Lee Bowen Sr. on September 28, 1979. She was the oldest out of nine brothers and sisters. She will be remembered for her loving kindness, loyalty, devotion and willingness to help others. As Fern went home to be with the Lord she was surrounded by family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Manuel Davila, son Carlos and Alecia Davila, daughter Jorge and Lafran Alvarez, son Bo and Singi Bowen, and daughter Veronica Bowen. Grandkids Matthew, Anna, Marky, Kimberly, Nicholas, Jacob, Devon, Josh, Christain, Emmanuel, Trista, Lana, Aiden, Bryce, and Nathaniel. Great Grandkids Kaison. Pets: dog Paco.

Fern May Bowen worked as a cook in nursing homes, and her hobbies were sewing, crocheting, and she loved spending time with grandkids and family.

Fern May Bowen was a devoted mother, friend, and sister. She took in anybodies kids to love them and take care of them. She was an awesome cook that would cook from scratch, and turn leftovers into cuisines. Fern had a passion to cook, and was loving mom to everyone. She will truly be missed by all that were blessed to have known her.
