Ruth Joanne (Shambrook) Bottorff
February 12, 1938 ~ May 11, 2017

Ruth Joanne Bottorff, 79, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 at her home in Bartlesville. 

Ruth was born on February 12, 1938 in Roberts, Illinois to parents Dale and Geraldine (Tornowski) Shambrook. 

She married Robert "Joe" Bottorff and together the couple had five children. Ruth worked as a special mail processor for Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association. She loved being a homemaker and her greatest joy was taking care of her family and her home. She also enjoyed doing crafts and sewing. 

Ruth is survived by her husband, Robert "Joe" Bottorff of the home; sons Kurt Bottorff and wife Traci of Bartlesville and Kevin Lee Bottorff of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughters Lori Ann Garner and husband Rex of Pittsburg, Kansas, Teri Ann Saltar and husband Steve of Xenia, Ohio and Leigh Ann Jones and husband Don of Montgomery, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and two sisters Diane Bailey of Onarga, Illinois and Juanita Bleich of Roberts, Illinois. 

A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
