Jerry Wayne Borum
February 28, 1964 ~ February 1, 2019 (age 54)

Jerry Wayne Borum was born February 28, 1964 to Jack and Geraldine Borum in Geneva, Illinois. He left us far too soon on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Promise Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was surrounded by many who deeply loved him and deeply cared for him.

Jerry graduated Limestone High School in Bartonville, Illinois in 1982. He attended ICC in East Peoria, Illinois. He proudly served God and country for ten years in the United States Army and is a veteran of Desert Storm.

He was a respected chef, teacher and mentor in the culinary field for thirty-five years. Jerry was a loving husband and best friend to Lesli for thirty-three years. A devoted family man and friend to so many.

Preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, Orb and Belle Borum and Glen and Blanche Winfield and brother, Tim Evans, Jerry is survived by his wife, Lesli A. Borum; daughter, Ashley E. Lucky and spouse Michael and their children: Burnetta, Michael Jr., Teanna, Kailey, Jada and great granddaughter, Aubrianna; daughter, Kendra Cassidy and spouse Shad and their children: Shad Jr., Blaze and Laythem; son, Jerry B.W. Borum; father Jack Borum and spouse Patricia; brother Greg Borum and spouse Nancy; sister, Jill Clausen and spouse Brian and their children: Kealey and Jamie along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Angel Wings for Veterans Organization.

June 29, 1968 ~ April 15, 2022 (age 53)

Lesli Ann Borum, age 53, of Lawton passed away Friday, April 15, 2022 at her residence.

Lesli was born on June 29, 1968 in Peoria City, Illinois to Donald L. Smith and Patricia A. (Bowen) Ford. Along side her late husband Jerry “Jerbear” Borum, they loved, cared and helped so many people, whether it be her best friend, close family or a complete stranger. She always kept up the family and holiday traditions with her children and grandchildren. Lesli was an awesome cook, loved her music, especially Lady GaGa. She enjoyed gardening and hiking in natures beauty but most of all, she loved spending time with family and close friends and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jerry “Jerbear” Borum; her father, Donald L. Smith; her brother, Scott Smith; her stepfather, Larry Ford; her stepbrother, Lyle Ford and grandparents, John and Lilth Bowen and Kenneth and Florence Smith, Lesli is survived by two daughters, Ashley E. Lucky and husband Michael and Kendra Cassidy and husband Shad; one son, Jerry B.W. Borum; her mother, Patricia A. Ford; one sister, Callie J. Smith; one brother, Quinten Smith; one uncle, Randy Smith; her grandchildren, Kailey A. Donadio, Jada S. Lucky, Shad Jr., Blaze, Laythem Cassidy, Lilliana Cassidy, Michael Lucky Jr., Burnetta Cole and Teanna Lucky; her great grandchildren, Aubrianna Lucky and Noah Lucky; two stepbrothers, John Ford and Mike Ford; one niece, Kenzetta Farmer and two nephews, Kendall Smith and Jesse Smith along with numerous other great nieces and nephews, close friend and other relatives
