Marshall Edward Bonnette, born on November 29, 1942, in Goldonna, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, in Jay, Oklahoma, at the age of 82. He lived a full and vibrant life, characterized by his deep love for the outdoors and a passion for spending time with family.

Marshall was known for his enjoyment of hunting and fishing, pastimes that allowed him to connect with nature and instilled a love for the great outdoors in those around him. His most cherished moments were undoubtedly those spent with his grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

He is survived by his daughter, Celia Maschelle Bonnette; his sisters, Eunice Jones, Edna Gates, and Marline Taylor; and a beloved legacy of grandchildren, including Leslie Browning, Trevor Bursch, Joey Bursch, Jordan Brown, and JoJo Brown; great-grandchildren, Logan Husband, Conner Husband, Scarlett Browning, Athea Bursch, Allie Bursch, and McKenzie Bursch. He is also remembered fondly by his nephew, Paul Meek, and wife Brenda, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Marshall was preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia Bonnette; his parents, Lloyd and Bernice Bonnette; a daughter, Angela; and sisters, Elaine Meek and Olita "Fuzzy" Gates.
