He was a dearly loved father and grandfather who taught his family how to love through his steadfast devotion to his wife, Jane, during the times of laughter and joy as well as the times of illness and heartache.

He passed on his love for God and his unwavering faith to his family, and he will be always be remembered for his sense of humor and his wonderful, vibrant personality.

He loved his time in the Navy and enjoyed telling his stories to all who would listen. He enjoyed bowling and going to casinos with Alice, watching good movies, and spending time playing games with his family.

He especially liked to eat a big plate of spaghetti and chocolate cake. He loved driving around in his pickup, looking out on his land and communing with God.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Boeckman; his infant daughter, Mary Margaret; and two brothers, Charles and James Boeckman.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Boeckman of Okeene; one sister, Shirley Boeckman of Muskogee; four sons, Chris Boeckman (Cheryl) of Okeene, Bruce Boeckman (Susie) of Okeene, Brian Boeckman (Donna) of Blanchard, and Reverend Scott Boeckman of Norman; three daughters, Brenda Lee (David) of Enid, Cindy Rauh (Kelly) of Duncan, and Cathy Johnson (Mike) of Broken Arrow; 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; eight step-children; 15 step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. You will never meet a "Papa" more loved by his grandchildren than he was.

His funeral service will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Monday, February 19th, 2018. A rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday night, February 18, 2018.
