Wanda Faye Stewart Blackshear, 79, of Cleo Springs, Ok. was born on 12/29/1946, to Cecil Douglas Stewart and Neva Mae Wallace Stewart and passed away on 1/29/2026 in Enid, Ok.
Wanda married Perry Daniel Blackshear on Sept. 13, 1963. They were married 62 years before her passing. Wanda and Perry lived in several places around the country before settling in Cleo Springs. She has four children- Kevin Dee, Danny Mac, Kelli Ryann, and Bri Anne.
Wanda attended college after having children and graduated UND Williston with an associate’s degree in 1983. She became an LPN and started her career in nursing with a focus on the elderly. She had a strong love and compassion for those with dementia and Alzheimer's and took great pride in her career. She retired at age 71.
Wanda has 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her grandchildren are Stephen Kirk, Donovan Lane, Mason Randal, Ciela Aimee Grace, Gavin Quade, Jordan Ryan, Landon Lee, Caleigh Anne, and Emily Joy. Great grandchildren are Finn O'Shea, and Kai Alexander.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Perry Blackshear, and all her children: Kevin of San Antonio and wife Kathy, Danny Mac of Oklahoma City and wife Jaime, Kelli of Enid and husband Pete, Bri of Oklahoma City and husband Jeff. Also, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and last but not least her sister Joyce Stewart Land of Dumas, TX.
She is preceded in death by Cecil, her father, Neva, her mother, her sister Janie and her brothers Floyd, Bobby and Jerry.
