Judye Marie (Johns) Best

Nov. 7, 1938, ~ June 14, 2004

Graveside service for Judye Marie Best, 65, of Sadler, is set for 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Gordonville Cemetery in Gordonville with the Rev. Jerry Henry officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Huff Funeral Home of Whitesboro.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Pallbearers will be family members.

Mrs. Best died Monday, June 14, 2004, at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center of Sherman.

She was born Nov. 7, 1938, in Chickasha, Okla., to Douglass and Dorothy Harris Johns. On April 16, 1956, she married Allen Best in Bethany, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of Sadler Baptist Church in Sadler.

Survivors include her husband, Allen Roger Best; sons, David Allen Best and Richard Lee Best; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Ann and Richard Zimmerman; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
