Mary Jane Berga~Smith

March 13, 1924 ~ July 13, 2007

Born March 13, 1924 to Silas and Augusta Eppler Berga in the Pioneer community, Mary Jane Berga-Smith passed away July 13, 2007 in Tulelake, California at age 83.

She graduated from Pioneer School in 1941. She married Eugene Smith in Washington D.C. in 1943.

They moved to Tulelake, California, in 1952 and lived there until her death.

She was preceded in death by parants and husband Eugene in 1993, and a brother Silas M Berga in 1994.

She is survived by one daughter, Karen Smith of home and two Grandsons, Paul Inman and family of Redding, California, and Alan Inman and family of Susanville, California, and nine great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by one sister, Gertrude Scott of Oklahoma City, and one sister-in-law, Lurene Berga of Chickasha, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., July 19, at Tulalake at Presbyterian Church with interment at Eternal Hills cemetery in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
