Sylvia Louise (Slaughterbeck) Bennett

Sylvia Louise Bennett, 86, of Bartlesville, died at 3:45 A.M. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville.

Private family services will be held and cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mrs. Bennett was born at Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 25, 1930 the daughter of Glenn Eldon Slaughterbeck and Willie Alee (Beaty) Slaughterbeck. She was married to James Leroy Bennett Sr. and they made their home in Bartlesville.

Mr. Bennett preceded her in death in 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

Mrs. Bennett is survived by one daughter, Donna Buford and husband Frank of Bartlesville, three sons, Jim Bennett and wife Alice of Bartlesville, Ronnie Bennett of Bartlesville and Gary Bennett and wife Judy of Dewey, one sister, Agatha Ramsey of Wichita Falls, Texas, 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
