Alphaeus Odell Bennett

Alphaeus Odell Bennett
February 28, 1919 ~ February 9, 2015 (age 95)

Alphaeus Odell Bennett entered the Eastern Gate to join the heavenly choir on February 9, 2015.  He was 95.  He was born February 28, 1919 to Odus Cortez Bennett and Ruth Jane Cranfield Bennett in Fort Smith, Arkansas. 

Alphaeus was a World War II veteran and served with the 451st Bomb Group 15th Air Force 1942-1945 and Army Reserve 1954-1979. 

He married Lillie Belle Kleeman on December 28, 1941, who survives him.  He is also survived by his daughter Cindy Gail Bennett of the home; two sisters Marjorie Little of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Anna Kilpatrick of Van Buren, Arkansas. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant brothers. 

Visitation will be Friday from 1pm-8pm at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman.  Services are 1:00 pm Saturday, February 14, 2015 at First Assembly of God, 2500 E. Lindsey St., Norman, OK.
