Charles Ray Beam

Charles Ray Beam
January 6, 1935 ~ April 24, 2021

Charles Ray Beam was born on January 6, 1935 in Oden, Arkansas. He left this earth on April 24, 2021.

Charles was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Marine Core from 1954 to 1957.

He served his Lord and Savior preaching the gospel for over 50 years as pastor at 7 different Missionary Baptist Churches across Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas.

Outside of church, Charles was most happy spending time with family and friends. He especially loved fishing, hunting, and raising sheep.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Yvonna Beam, his parents, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by two sisters, a brother, his children, Deborah Spurlock and Donald Beam, three grandchildren, Eric Spurlock, Justin Beam and Jared Beam, and one great-granddaughter, Kaylynn Spurlock.

And he said to them, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men”.
