Bonita Iris (Smith) Beals was born June 21, 1929 in Spearman, TX to Leslie B. Smith and Lucille McClellan Smith. Died in St. Mary's Hospital, Enid, OK after a short illness.

On July 10, 1948 she married Harold L. Beals at Wheeler, TX. They have lived in the Roll community since 1961. Bonita was an active member of Magnolia Baptist Church Crawford, OK.

Surviving are: 2 sons Lonnie of Elk City, OK, Terry of Coshatta, LA. 3 daughters, Joan Taylor, Reydon, OK, Jean Whiteneck, Ringwood, OK, Gail Sides, Cheyenne, OK, 2 sisters Loretta Kinney , Azle, TX Jeweleen Smith, Weatherford, TX, 2 brothers Leslie Dewayne & Billymack Smith both of Weatherford,TX.

Grandchildren are: Timothy, Jason, Steven, Jamie and Lisa Beals, Nathan & Leah Whiteneck, Cayla Sides, Joshiah, Hannah, Andrew & Daniel Beals. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson, Jonathan W. Taylor and one sister Patricia.
