She enjoyed horses and casinos and volunteered with a Hospice for some time. Nikki attended Midway Assembly of God church in Meeker when she was able to attend. Nikki loved animals of all kinds and she loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed spending time with her lifelong friend, Amy.

Nikki was preceded in death by her parents Nip Ballew and Patricia (Byford) Ballew, grandparents, Sarah and Jack Robinson, and John and Josephine Byford, life partner, Ben Curley. Survivors include her brother, Ryan Byford and his wife Bethani of Davenport, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.

At this time, no service has been scheduled for Nikki. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
