Ruth Marie (Jones) Baker

November 30, 1932 ~ September 5, 2025

Ruth was born in Jones, Oklahoma on November 30, 1932 to the late Clinton A. Jones & Ethel (Lopp) Jones. She passed from this life at her residence on September 5, 2025 at the age of 92 years, 9 months, & 5 days. Ruth was raised & educated in Jones.

She married Neal Baker on December 26, 1950 in Oklahoma City & they made their home in Grandfield. In1959, they moved to Broken Arrow where they remained. Ruth had worked as a secretary in administrative healthcare all her life & retired from Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa in 2005. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Church and enjoyed working crossword puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Neal Baker in 2010; 3 Brothers: Kenneth, Harold, & Billy Jones; and a Sister: Helen Couch.

She leaves behind her Children: Marie Gilmore of Broken Arrow – Neal Baker, II of Tulsa – Thelma Francis of Coweta – Lowell Baker of Depew – Russell Keith & Cecelia Keith, both of Tennessee; Grandchildren: Alicia – Robbie – Angela – Nicole – Charles – Becky – Danny - Lowella – Shawnda – Summer – Starr - & Alex; Great Grandchildren: Seth – Lillie – A.J. – Megan – Teagen – Taytum – Sidney – Henlee – Bentlee – Noah - & Genis; 1 Great Great Grandchild: Brianna; PLUS several Nieces – Nephews – Cousins - other family members & numerous friends.
