Memorial service for Melba Babcock, 88, Hennessey, will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday January 26, 2016 at Hennessey Care Center officiated by Rev. Duane Roever. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
Melba was born on August 16, 1927 to Charles Samuel and Margarete America Combs Babcock and died Monday January 18, 2016 at Hennessey Care Center where she had lived since 1969.
Melba is survived by one sister Polly Montgomery and husband Robert of Kannapolis, N.C. and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles Babcock and Lloyd Ray "Bud" Babcock.
