Brady Lee Avery

November 19, 1977 ~ May 20, 2022

Brady Lee Avery of Covington has passed away. He was only 44. He was born on November 19, 1977, in Enid, the son of Billy Dean Avery and Brenda Irene (Hays) Avery. He attended Covington Schools, graduating in 1997. He enjoyed working as an electrician's helper, riding his motorcycle, frog gigging and fishing. Whether it was from a boat, on the bank or in the river, Brady loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Fred and Geraldine Avery, grandparents Darryl and Laveta Hays, and a beloved dog Roy.

He leaves behind to mourn his loss his parents Billy and Brenda Avery of the home; sister Brandi Smith and her husband Shane of Orlando; niece Bailey Smith of Orlando; niece Karley Bowman and her husband Jake of Guthrie; niece Shailey Smith of Orlando; brother by choice Rick Thompson and his wife Ashley as well as their children Ali, Dillen, and Dicksen; special friend Heather; and a large extended family.

A memorial service will be held on June 2 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Covington, OK. Pastor Phillip Greg will officiate.
