Theda Louise Austin

WHEELER - Theda Louise Austin, 72, died Friday, Dec. 6, 1996.

Services were at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Country Chapel with Bill Morrison, minister of Wheeler Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was in Kelton Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.

Mrs. Austin was born in Canadian. She moved to Yellville, Ark., where she graduated from high school. She married Boyd Austin in 1949 at Wellington. They moved to Wheeler in 1959. She owned and operated City Cleaners from 1962 until 1972. She had also worked for Pierce¹s Trading Post for eight years. She was currently employed by Outreach Home Health. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Lynn Austin of Fritch; a daughter, Lois Carol Puryear of Wheeler; a sister, Ruth Canaday of Shidler, Okla.; and four grandsons.

The family requests memorials be to Golden Spread Hospice of Wellington.
