Mildred (Cowen) Impson Ausley
July 16, 1907 ~ February 26, 2011

Mildred Impson Ausley of Calera, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011 in Kingston, Okahoma at the age of 103 years. She was born July 16, 1907 in Paducah, Texas to Edgar and Mary (Powell) Cowen.

Mrs. Ausley was a retired telephone operator for AT&T. She enjoyed playing bingo and was a member of both the Pioneers Club and the First United Methodist Church in Calera, Oklahoma. She married Troy Impson and later George Ausley.

She is survived by a niece, Dorothy Nunley of Kingston, Oklahoma and a nephew, Henry Cowen of Littlefield, Texas; also, a great-great nephew, Peter Baker of Kingston, Oklahoma. Mrs. Ausley is also survived by other nieces, nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Mary Cowen and husbands, Troy Impson and George Ausley, and other family members.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Chapel at 2:00 P.M. in Durant, Oklahoma. Rev. Keith Rogers will officiate.

Family hour will be Monday, February 28, 2011 from 6-7 p.m. at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home.
