Georgia Marie Atwell

Oct. 13, 1922 ~ Sept. 6, 2004

Georgia Marie Atwell 82 of Preston, OK passed away on September 6th 2004 of complications stemming from Dementia. Georgia was born on October 13, 1922 in Texas but lived most of her life in Okmulgee County. Everybody new Georgia mostly by her working side by side with her sister Bea Hunter. Georgia was a member of the Second Baptist Church. She came to live with the Hinds family where she gave much love and happiness to all of us that were around her. We love you Georgia and you will be missed dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Manuel Bonner, 2 sisters; Bea Hunter and Ruth Webb, 4 brothers; J.B., Cecil, Quincy and Howard Carder.

Survivors include 1 Brother: Wayne Carder of Okmulgee,Niece: Candy & Husband Charles Hinds of Preston, Great Nieces: Charly and Jessica Hinds of Preston,Great Nephew: Steven Hinds of Preston, Numerous other relatives and friends.

At the request of "Aunt" Georgia there will be a memorial service held in Preston at the home of Charles and Candy Hinds on Friday, Sept. 10, 2004 at 11:00 am. All family and friends are invited. Arrangements by Rogers Funeral Home.
