Orval F. "Brownie" Ashby
April 5, 1921 ~ October 28, 2010

Orval F. (Brownie) Ashby of Mead, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 in Mead, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 23 days. He was born Tuesday, April 5, 1921 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Orval Freeman and Anna (Dye).

Mr. Ashby served and retired from the United States Air Force in 1967.

Family hour will be 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Chapel. No services will be held for Mr. Ashby.

Preceded in death by his parents Orval Freeman and Anna (Dye); wife, Joella Ashby; daughter, Judy.

He is survived by his sons, John Ashby of Mead, Oklahoma, and Jim Ashby of Yarnaby, Oklahoma; sister, Dorothy of Georgia; 6 Grandchildren, and 5 Great-grandchildren.
