Katherine Jean "Kathy" (Pierce) Arthur

October 16, 1960 ~ July 1, 2015

Celebration of Life for Kathy J. Arthur, age 54, will be held at the Fairview City Park, Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 1:00p.m. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Kathy was born, October 16, 1960 to Luther and Wilma Jean (Allison) Pierce in Garden Grove, California and passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at her home in Fairview, Oklahoma

Kathy attended school in California. She fell in love with Terry Arthur and welcomed their firstborn son Jayson. Kathy and Terry were married in Riverside, California on September 12, 1984. They then added a son, Terry and a daughter, Jennifer to their family. In 1989 they moved to Fairview, Oklahoma to be closer to family who lived there. Kathy worked for the Fairview Fellowship Home for a time but enjoyed being a full time homemaker and mother.

She is survived by her husband Terry, of the home, son Jayson Pierce and daughter, Jennifer Arthur, both of Fairview, OK, two brothers; Luther Pierce of Oklahoma City, OK, and Peter Archuleta of North Carolina, two sisters; Sandy Thewes of Sedona, Arizona and Becki Kopf of Longdale, OK, five grandchildren; Jamie Hicks, Braydon Blackburn-Pierce, Alexys Pierce, Austin Pierce, and Allison Pierce.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and son, Terry Arthur Jr.

Memorials can be made to Carter Hospice with the funeral home in charge of the funds.
