Claude B. Arnhart

Claude B. Arnhart
March 12, 1913 ~ November 30, 1999

A private family memorial service for Claude B. Arnhart, 86, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Anderson – Burris Funeral Home.

He was born March 12, 1913, to Tom and Amy Arnhart in Joplin, Missouri, and died Tuesday, November 30, 1999 at Highland Park Manor Nursing Center in Enid.

He attended school in Oilton and graduated from high school there. In 1933, he married Irene Simpson in Drumright. He worked for Elm Oil Company in Oilton before becoming a minister with First Church of God in 1948. He pastored churches in Pauls Valley, Waynoka, Hobart, Ripley, Gage, Miraloma, California, and Kinsley, Kansas.

He is survived by his wife, Irene; one daughter, Barbara Walker of Enid; three sons, Jim of Valencia, California, Larry of Maybank, Texas and Tom of Springboro, Ohio; one brother, Harry of Seminole; eight grandchildren; and eight great – grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister.
