Alvin Joseph Armstrong

Alvin Joseph Armstrong, 58 year old Woodward resident, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at his home in Woodward. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2013 at the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Alvin Joseph Armstrong was born on February 17, 1955 in Enid, Oklahoma to Burrell and Carol Elizabeth (Adams) Armstrong. Alvin had been disabled for quite some time so he was unable to work. Alvin loved to draw and spent many hours doing so.

He is survived his daughter, Sally Armstrong of Edmond; one sister, Ethel of Stillwater; two brothers, David Armstrong of Woodward, Edward Armstrong and wife Nancy of Boston; two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
