Shirley Ann (Clemens) Armor
April 05, 1937 ~ August 31, 2018

Shirley Ann Armor, the beloved wife of Ed Armor of Durant, Oklahoma, left this life and entered into the arms of her Savior on Friday August 31st, 2018 at the age of 81. She was born in Albany, Oklahoma to E.W. and Vera Josephine (Bruce) Clemens on April 5th, 1937. Shirley married her sweetheart Ed in Bennington, Oklahoma on May 5th, 1956.

Shirley dedicated her life to caring for her home and family, she loved being a wife and mother. She was an artist at heart, and enjoyed writing poetry, singing and painting. Shirley was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a receptionist for United Systems in Oklahoma City and TOTCO in Norman, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Armor is survived by her husband, Ed of the home; daughters, Tammie Lovelace and husband David of Durant, Oklahoma and Kellie Mathis of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Mark Lovelace and wife Mirtila of Dallas, Texas, Kane Lovelace and wife Brittney of Durant, Oklahoma, Amy Harrison and husband Tucker of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Julie Wilson and husband Hayden of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Katie Mathis of Tulsa, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Kash Lovelace, Ryker Harrison, and Keach Lovelace; and also survived by her sister, Connie Waddell of Kingston, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Armor was preceded in death by her parents, E.W. and Vera Clemens; brother, Henry Clemens; and sister, Thelma Gilchrist.

Memorials may be made in Shirley's name to the 1st Baptist Church Children's Ministry.

Family hour will be from7-8:00 PM on Monday September 3rd at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A celebration of her life will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the 1st Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma.
