Ron Armani

October 20, 1935 ~ February 16, 2008

Ron was born in Solvay, New York on October 20, 1935 and died on Saturday, February 16th at the Villages of Lady Lake, Florida.

He was a senior pilot for Trans World Airlines for 25 years and a member of The Retired Airline Pilots Association.

Ron was also a member of the Creative Writers Club at Lady Lake.

He was married to Jean Friedman [Class of 1952] of Anadarko, OK.

They lived in Palm City, Florida for 14 years before moving to Lady Lake four years ago.

He had retired early from flying so he and Jean could play golf and take one or two boat cruises each year.

Ron was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include Jean and her four children Jana, Robin, Jeff and Craig plus six grandchildren.

He also leaves a brother Don Armani of Solvay and stepsister Jane Holland of Tully, New York.

It was Ron's wish to be cremated. A memorial service was held Thursday, February 21th. at the Beyers Funeral Home in Lady Lake.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
