J. B. Archer passed from this life on March 22, 2023, at the age of 67 years, 5 months, and 12 days. James Barry was born on October 10, 1955, to parents James “Kenneth” and Janet (Lincoln) Archer in Seiling, Oklahoma. J. B, as he was known, attended grade school and graduated from Seiling High School with the Class of 1973. J.B. was united in marriage to Debbie K. Kirk. The family was blessed with four children, Shannon, Brian, Carrie, and Justin.

J.B. worked as a truck driver in the transport industry. J.B. was a member of the Friends Church in Seiling. He enjoyed race cars and watching western movies.

J.B. is preceded death by his parents, daughter Carrie Lenard, and sister Nancy Cantrell.

He is survived by sons, Brian Archer and wife Kristin from Burns Flat, Ok, and Justin Archer of Seiling, and daughter Shannon Hoffman and husband Dusty also of Seiling, OK. He also leaves behind a brother, Bret Archer of Seiling, 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, an aunt Oma Jean Dunn and husband Duane, and two uncles Bobby Archer and wife Wanda, and Gene Lincoln of Delta, CO. He will also be missed by nephews, other relatives, and friends.
