A Memorial service for Denise Ankeny, 45, will be 11 AM Monday at Cedar Ridge Christian Church, Broken Arrow. Gregg Pittman will officiate. Arrangements are by Hayhurst Funeral Home, Broken Arrow.

She was born July 26, 1959, in Chicago to James and Bonnie Topley Gallagher and died Wednesday, June 8, 2005.

She married Mark Ankeny July 24, 1992, in Columbiana, Ohio. They moved to Broken Arrow in 1992. She was a member of Cedar Ridge Christian Church and worked in health care for the elderly.

Surviving are her husband, Mark, of Broken Arrow; one daughter, Jennifer Jean Gallagher of Tulsa; five sons, Jeremy Lynn Gallagher and Shannon Smith, both of Tulsa, Joshua P. Smith and Jason Lee Gallagher, both of Broken Arrow, and Wesley Gallagher of Wichita, Kansas; her mother, Bonnie Gallagher of Enid; three sisters, Linda Griffith of Constable, New York, Carla Smith of Haysville, Kansas, and Pat Decker of Enid; three brothers, Tony Hagen of Lawton, Mike Gallagher of Enid and James Gallagher of Wichita; and 16 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother.
