Hilton Anej

Born: June 05, 1945 -Died: May 11, 2016

The services celebrating the life of Hilton Anej, 70 of Marshall Islands, will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Marshallese United Church of Christ with Rev. Alfred Alfred officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Hilton was born June 5, 1945 in Ebeye Island of Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands to Bondrik and Libin Langrine Anej. He graduated from Marshall Island High School and continued his education in Palau with a degree in carpentry. Hilton worked on the Ronald Reagan Missile Test Army Base as a chief-cook supervisor in Maze Hall for 39 years, retiring in 2011. On June 5, 1992, he married Flora Michael in the Marshall Islands. Hilton passed away while visiting his family in Oklahoma.

Hilton is survived by his wife; 3 sons; 5 daughters; 24 grandchildren; 1 sister; 6 brothers; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
