Alfred H. Andree

September 14, 1898 ~ ???? | Age 88

Streator, Illinois

Services for Alfred H. Andree, 88, a retired Blackstone farmer who died January 2 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home were held at 11 AM Monday, January 5, at First United Methodist Church with Dr. William Heinbaugh officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery. Streator Masonic Lodge 607 AF&AM conducted a ritual Sunday evening at Hagi Funeral Home.

Andree was born September 14, 1898, in Albert, Kansas, to William and Elizabeth Bahm Andree. He married Ethel Gaff, who died in 1958. His second wife, Lula Defenbaugh, died in 1984. Others preceding him in death were one brother, Edward, and one grandson.

Survivors are one daughter, Joylene Bournas, Plainfield, Illinois; two sons, William T. Andree and James R. Andree, both of Blackstone, Illinois; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Andree, Idaho Falls, Idaho; three sisters, Clara Stauffer, Birdie Brining and Esther Alexander, all of Cherokee.
