Janet Ann Anderson was born November 15, 1956 in Long Island, New York, the daughter of Clifford Richard Coon and Kayo [KATO] Coon.

She died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at her home in Chickasha after a courageous battle with cancer.

Janet married her husband and best friend, James Anderson in November of 1979. This union brought them their two children: Kristopher and Michelle.

She has been part of the Stipe Law Firm in Oklahoma City since 2000.

Janet touched so many lives and hearts with her free spirit and humor.

She is survived by her husband, James (Jim) Anderson, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law: Kristopher and Amber Anderson, of Duncan; one daughter, Michelle Anderson, of Chickasha; father, Clifford Coon, of Syracuse, New York; sister, Carol Brown, of Layton, Utah; two brothers: Richard James Coon, of San Antonio, Texas and David Coon, of Mississippi; grandmother, Ellen Cummings, of New York; granddaughter, Kaitlyn, of Duncan, Oklahoma; and through the years she has been a second mother to Kristi Butler, and "Maw Maw Janet" to her son Bray Wilson, both of Chickasha; and numerous nieces and nephews.
