Over the years, Clif belonged to the Kern Kiwanis Club, the Bakersfield Ys Mens Club, and he was very active in Northminster Presbyterian Church where he and his late wife worshipped for nearly 50 years.

An avid traveler and animal lover, Clif was preceded in death by Naomi, his wife of 68 years; parents Lula Mae and William and brothers, Calvin and Curtis.
