Clara (Axelson) Anderson

February 15, 1936 ~ November 3, 2005

Funeral services for Clara Anderson, 69, Enid, will be Monday, November 7, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John McLemore officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Clara was born on February 15, 1936 in Woodstock, Illinois, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy Clankie Axelson, and died Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. She grew up in Rockford, Illinois where she attended schools. Clara moved to Florida in 1986, later, she moved to Enid where she was a member of Central Christian Church, various church groups, and Enid Senior Citizens Center.

Clara is survived by sons, William Monos Bowling II of Corpus Christy, Texas; and Gary Lee and wife Debra Bowling of Enid; daughter Debra Lynn Scarpo of Corpus Christy, Texas; daughter and caregiver Karen Sue and husband Peter Ayling of Enid. Grandchildren, Gary Bowling II, Christopher Bowling, Eric Bowling, Peter Ayling, Jr., Kristi Ayling, David Ayling, James Ayling, Mary Bowling, Billy Bowling, Balinda Bowling, Iceis Bowling, Nicole Scarpo, and Gregg Scarpo. Great-grandchildren, Alicia Kruger, Zander Kruger, Haley Barrett, Kristin Bowling, Maranda Galvan, Travis Lloyd, Jr., Emily Bowling, Gary Bowling, III, Dominic Bowling, Dreama Bowling. Stepgrandchildren, Joshua Jasmin, Ronald; Step-great-grandchildren, Shawn, Christian, Timothy, Paul. Sisters, Elaine Rubert of Rockford, Illinois; Kathleen Sink of Rockford, Illinois, and Dorothy Bowling of Rockford, Illinois; brothers, Harold Axelson of Winnebago, Illinois, Wayne Axelson of Davis, Illinois, Ralph Axelson of Wisconsin, Charles Axelson of Wisconsin, and Orville Axelson of Ponca City.

Clara was preceded in death by, granddaughter, Carlie; brothers, Raymond, and Don.
