Bobbie Joe Anderson

September 6, 1947 ~November 28, 1998

A Memorial service for Bobbie Joe Anderson, 51, will be 2 PM Tuesday in the Chapel of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home. Robert Stewart will officiate. The casket will be open at the funeral home until 3 PM today. The body will then be cremated as he had requested.

He was born September 6, 1947, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to William M. and Lena Griswold Anderson and died Saturday, November 28, 1998, in Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.

On June 17, 1978, he married Jeanette Smith in Coffeyville, Kansas. They moved to Enid in 1980. He was employed with the city of Enid street department for 16 years.

Surviving are his wife, Jeanette; four children, Shawn, Cody, Jay and Lacy, all of the home; one brother, Donnie of Emporia, Kansas; two sisters, Janet Baldrige of Coffeyville, Kansas, and Joan Call of Kansas; and his mother and stepfather, Lena and George Hoose of Afton.

He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to his children's education fund.
