Angelina (Perez) Anderson
January 12, 1927 ~ November 9, 2014 (age 87)

Angelina Perez Anderson of Cyril, OK was born January 12, 1927 and passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, November 9, 2014 in Lawton, OK. She was born in Riverside, CA to Josephine (Pacheco) and Herman Perez. Her father was a Methodist minister. Angelina was the eldest of nine children.

She grew up in San Diego where she met Hollis Houston Anderson who was stationed at the U.S. Naval Base in San Diego, CA. Angelina and "Shorty" were married in 1954 in Yuma, AZ, and relocated to Oklahoma where Shorty's family lived. They eventually moved to Cyril, opened Anderson Food Store and raised their family in Cyril.

Angelina was preceded in death by her parents , brother Larry Perez and sisters, Mary Lou Sinohui and Cathy Perez.

Survivors include two daughters Marionette Jump of Leadville, CO, and Angela Anderson Vaughan and husband, Tim, of Dallas, TX and one son, Jack Houston Anderson and wife, Goldie, of Fletcher, OK. Grandchildren are Cody and wife, Harmony Jump and Jay Jump of Leadville, CO; Mary Jump, New York, NY; Wilson Vaughan, Anderson Vaughan, and Hollis Vaughan all of Dallas, TX. Angelina has one great-grandson, Otis William Jump.

Her surviving siblings are David Perez, Matthew Perez , Roy Perez, Esther Lawson, and Ruby Perez.

A small family memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cyril United Methodist Church, Cyril, OK.
