Franklin Lewis Ambler

Franklin Lewis Ambler
March 11, 1945 ~ June 4, 2021

Franklin Lewis Ambler, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on March 11, 1945, in Wichita, Kansas. He departed this life on June 4, 2021, at the Veterans Home in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years.

Franklin was the son of Franklin and Wilma Mae (Brown) Ambler. He graduated from Chandler High School in 1963. Franklin served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base for many years. Franklin loved to fish, go flying with his father, cars and drag racing. He will be greatly missed.

His parents preceded Franklin in death.

Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Sherron and Dennis Robinson of Wichita, Kansas; one brother and sister-in-law, Skip and Donna Ambler of Yukon, Oklahoma; other relatives and many friends.

A private family service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Chandler, Oklahoma.

Cremation has taken place. You can still show your support by planting a tree in memory of Franklin Lewis Ambler.
