Velia Alvarado

November 26, 1980 ~ February 01, 2018

The funeral service for Velia Alvarado is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Reverend Joseph Irwin officiating.

Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary is 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2018, at Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.

Velia Alvarado was born November 26, 1980, to Francisco and Josefina (Carmona) Alvarado in Durango, Mexico, and passed away February 1, 2018.

Velia met Jose Salinas in 2001, and they have been together ever since. In 2005, they moved to the United States, making Oklahoma their home. 

She started her own housekeeping business here in Enid and enjoyed it very much. Velia was a loving wife and mother who was extremely dedicated to her family. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by her friends and family. 

Velia is survived by her husband, Jose; three children, Yair, Edwin and Brandon; her parents; four brothers and one sister.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
