Charles Wayne Allen
November 11, 1966 ~ May 23, 2023

Charles Wayne Allen was born on November 11, 1966, at home in Lane, Oklahoma to Aaron Lee and Geraldine Muriel (Dana) Allen. Charles passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at his home in Marietta, Oklahoma at the age of 56. Charles graduated from Atoka High School in 1985 and later attended Haskell College in Kansas. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1989 and served in the Gulf War until his Honorable Discharge in 1994. He later worked for the Marshall Co. Sheriff’s Dept. as a Deputy, road crew highway foreman and most recently over the road truck driver. He was proud member of the Choctaw Nation, and he enjoyed building and fixing things, liked being the boss, and loved to spend time with family and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jimmy Ray LeFlore and Aaron Lynn Allen; and sister Aaronette Lee Allen.

Charles is survived by his wife Twila McAnally; son Anthony Allen and wife Alexa; daughter Sarah Allen and husband Nathan; brothers Clay Simpson and Vester Hank Allen and wife Mary; sisters Betty Black, Kathleen Hosler and husband Bill, Berdie Williams and husband Jim, Diana Child and husband Larry, and Maria Horton; grandchildren Jaxtyn, Emett, Etta, and Taos.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday evening May 26, 2023 from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
