Abigail Luetta 'Abby" Albrecht

Abigail Luetta "Abby" Albrecht
January 24, 1995 ~ October 5, 2016 (age 21)

Abigail "Abby" Luetta Albrecht went home to the Lord on October 5, 2016 at 2:35 p.m.  Abby left this life the same way she came into it: too early and without a sound, after fighting a 21 year battle with Cystic Fibrosis and its horrible consequences.

Services for Abby will be held at Westside Church of Christ in Norman at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2016.  Brother Phillip Johnson will officiate the services.  Family will be receiving friends at Havenbrook Funeral Home on Saturday, October 8, 2016, from 6-7:30 p.m.

Abby fought a hard battle against the ravages of Cystic Fibrosis and the complications of a double-lung transplant, but ultimately was defeated.

She is survived by her parents, Robert and Dierdre, “baby” brother Clay, and her fur baby, Tamashi, as well as a host of extended family, friends, Cystas and Fibros.

Abby will be remembered for her always-present smile, her positive attitude, tender and caring heart, wacky sense of humor, and her love of God and his Word, and will be missed by everyone who ever met her.

Donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Abby’s name at www.cff.org
