Hubert Frank Albauer

March 30, 1939 ~ December 16, 2009

Hubert (Huby) Albauer passed on to Heaven on December 16th, 2009 at the age of 70.

He leaves behind his wife Doris Albauer, his 3 children Bob, Frank and Susan, as well as 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and friend Mona Newman.

Huby was an avid sports fan for 60 years as well as a player, coach, teacher, father, grandpa, and friend. He had been the General Manager for Darling-Delaware and Oklahoma Rendering Co for 35 years. He was an optimistic man, defying odds both in business and personally. For those who knew Hubert knew he had been given many medical obstacles over the past few years. When faced with these obstacles he always had the attitude of 'put me in coach, I can do it'. He fought the battle the best he could up until his last day on earth. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Prayer services will be held at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home, 1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, 73130 on Friday December 18th at 7pm. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Fatima at 23 Meyers Place in Oklahoma City, OK 73102 on Saturday December 19th at 10am. In lieu of flowers, in memory donations can be made to The Children's Center in Bethany, OK 73008.
