Sylvester Clarence Ailant

A memorial celebration will be held at a later date for Sylvester Clarence Ailant, 73-year-old Enid resident.

 Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Sy was born Dec. 27, 1938, in Berlin, Wis., to Clarence and Lucille (Rehbein) Ailant and passed away at home after a long struggle with lung cancer on Sunday, June 3, 2012.

During his lifetime, he worked as a carnie and truck-driver.

He is survived by four children from his first wife, Barbara Ailant; Lisa, Rick and John Ailant, all of Milwaukee, Wis., and Anne Peterson of Delavan, Wis.; his daughter with second wife, Marcia Teall; Jennifer Ailant; two sisters, Judy Perkins and Diane Alvin of Green Lake, Wis.; son-in-law, Jason Pantermuehl; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. You will be missed and loved by all those who came to know you. Love you Pops.
