George Kevin Agee
August 16, 1960 ~ May 16, 2020

George Kevin Agee was born August, 16th, 1960 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to John W. Agee and Sharon (Peck) Agee. He passed away May 16th, 2020 at home in The Woodlands, Texas, at 59 years old.

Kevin was a 1978 Pauls Valley High School Graduate. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Texas at Arlington and later completed his Master of Legal Studies from the University of Oklahoma School of Law.

Prior to his passing, Kevin was employed by XTO Energy (now ExxonMobil) in Fort Worth, Texas. Kevin relocated, along with the company, to The Woodlands, Texas in 2018.

Kevin will be remembered for his quick-wit, and love for everything Texas. Most importantly, he will be remembered for his love and support of his four sons, Wes, Kyle, Wyatt and Travis. From athletics, to schooling, to Boy Scouts, to life advice, Kevin’s first priority was always his children. Kevin loved coaching his boys’ youth sports teams as it allowed him to spend quality time with each of his sons. Additionally, he made a positive impact on many of his children’s teammates and built long-lasting relationship with their parents.

The family would especially like to thank his fiancé, Adelka Vila. No words can describe the amount of love and care she gave Kevin during his illness. We would also like to acknowledge Adelka’s daughter, Madison Vila and Choe Hefelfinger for their love and care during this time. Lastly, we would like to give special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Memorial Hermann Hospital and to Bristol Hospice for their care and dedication to Kevin.

Kevin was preceded in death by his brother, Alan Christian Agee, Paternal Grandparents, Anderson and Marjorie Agee, Maternal Grandparents, George and Katherine Peck and his uncles, Richard T. (Dick) Agee and Alan Agee. He is survived by parents, John and Sharon Agee, his fiancé, Adelka Vila and her daughter, Madison Vila. His four children, John Wesley Agee, Steven Kyle Agee, Matthew Wyatt Agee and William Travis Agee, his brother J.J. Agee, and wife Wendy and their children, Cade Agee and Camden Agee, his nephew, Randall Agee and wife Sarah and their children, Hannah Claire Agee, Christian Agee and Elle Agee. Kevin also leaves behind his Aunt and Uncle, Dave and Linda Agee, Aunt Mary Ann Agee and first cousins, Jasen Agee, Laura Agee Cooper, Corbin Agee and Brett Agee. Finally, we would like to acknowledge the Humphrey and Vaughn family, living and deceased, to whom Kevin was always close.
