Ruth Jeanice (Turner) Wells Gracey Adams

Ruth Jeanice Turner Wells Gracey Adams, 99 years old and resident of Bartlesville, passed away June 8, 2016.

Ruth was born April 13, 1917 in Bartlesville to parents John and Ada (Rucker) Turner. She attended all 12 years of school in Bartlesville and was a proud member of Class of '35, the last surviving female of the Class of '35.

Ruth was proceeded in death by her parents, three husbands, 1 grandson David Rahm, a sister and brother. Ruth was proceeded in death by her parents, daughter Claudette Sue Rahm, sister Pauline Rowland and brother Paul Turner, three husbands, and grandson David Rahm.

On May 31, 1937 she married Claude Frank Wells and they were married 22 years when he passed away. She married Cleo Gracey in 1961 and they were married 23 years when he passed away. She and Harold Adams married on June 14, 1986. Harold was a devoted and loving husband, caring for her until his passing on March 2, 2016. They had known each other since grade school.

Ruth is survived by her children Larry Lee Wells and wife Wilma of Loves Park, IL, Nancy Ann Durall and husband Stephen Durall of Guthrie, OK, Stephen Thomas Wells and wife Evelyn of Ayer, MA, step-children Charles Leroy Adams and wife Nita of Stillwater, OK, Donna Kelly and husband Bill of Bartlesville, OK, and Joyce Ann Ralph and husband Charles David of Owasso, OK, and Becky (Gracey) Goeringer of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Virginia Avenue Baptist Church. Pastors Wallace Thames and Tom Cox will co-officiate the service.
