Patsy Danielle (Cowan) Adams
November 14, 1976 ~ November 3, 2007

Patsy Danielle Cowan Adams, former Ponca City resident was taken in the arms of an angel to be with her heavenly Father on Saturday, November 3, 2007 in McCamey, TX. She was 30. 

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2007 at the Osage Heights Baptist Church in Ponca City, OK with the Rev. Harold Hutchins, pastor of the Osage Heights Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory. 

Patsy was born in Ponca City, OK on November 14, 1976 to Jimmy D. Cowan, Sr. and Lois Janelle (Breedlove) Cowan. She attended the Ponca City School System at Roosevelt Elementary and later graduating from the Ponca City High School. She married Virgil Pete Adams on August 25, 2006 in Ponca City, OK. After their marriage they moved to McCamey, TX where Patsy was a CNA for a nursing home. She was the daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Adams of Newkirk, OK and Laquietta Adams of Enid, OK 

Patsy's hobbies include arts and crafts, water skiing, mud racing, helping with the elderly, and singing. Patsy also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and most importantly her four sons. 

She is survived by her husband Virgil Pete Adams of McCamey, TX; four sons: Joseph Magnus of Stillwater, OK; Caleb Weaver of Copan, OK; Gary Simmons of the home; and Nathaniel Curfman of the home; parents: Jimmy Cowan, Sr. and Janelle Cowan of Ponca City, OK; three brothers: Jimmy Cowan, Jr. and wife Latisha of Ponca City, OK; James Cowan and wife Sharyn of Ponca City, OK; and Jeremy Cowan and Anna Bryer of Ponca City, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. 

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Rolla and Helen Breedlove of Ponca City, OK; paternal grandmother Patsy Cowan; paternal grandmother Virginia Cowan of Chouteau, OK; one uncle Steve Breedlove of Guthrie, OK; niece Katrina Marie Cowan of Ponca City, OK; nephew Dakota Levi Cowan of Ponca City, OK; great nephew Teagun Jayce Cowan of Ponca City, OK. 

A memorial trust fund is set up at the RCB/ Pioneer Bank, c/o Regina Lewis, P.O. Box #111, Ponca City, OK 74602.
