John Quincy Adams, III
 January 7, 1969 ~ January 15, 2022

John Q. Adams, III, 53 year old former Woodward resident, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 in Ft. Worth, Texas. A private family service will be held. Visitation for John will be at the Billings Funeral Home on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

John Quincy Adams, III was born on January 7, 1969 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to John Quincy II and Loretta Christine “Chris†(Young) Adams. John grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School in 1987. He was a talented athlete and played football and ran track in high school. He attended Oklahoma State University. John was united in marriage to Kerrie Klesken in Dallas, Texas and they were blessed with two children, John Quincy, IV and Claire.

He loved country music, OSU sports, and had a great talent and love for cooking. John had a passion for all sports and enjoyed being a coach to both of his children.

He is survived by his son, J.Q. Adams; one daughter, Claire Adams; one sister, Megan Kline and husband Darrin; other relatives and many friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents, J.Q. and Chris Adams.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Center in Woodward with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
