C. Troy Adams

Sept. 23, 1924 ~ July 8, 2002

LUBBOCK - Troy Adams, 77, died Monday, July 8, 2002.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church of Shallowater with the Rev. Mitch Wilson and the Rev. Wayne R. Williams, pastor emeritus of Parkway Drive Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park by Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.

Mr. Adams was born Sept. 23, 1924, in Scurry County. He married Melba Dean Potter on Sept. 23, 1950, in Shallowater.

Survivors include two sons, Roger Adams of Dumas and Brantley Adams of Tullahoma, Tenn.; two daughters, Shelly Martin and Denise Adams, both of Shallowater; six grandchildren; two brothers, Travis Adams of Phoenix and Bobby Adams of Claremore, Okla.; and a sister, Doris June Clark of Chino Valley, Ariz.
