James L. Adam

September 6, 1949 ~ Aug 30, 1996

Memorial services for James L. Adam, 46, of Enid, will be at a later date in Lyndhurst, New Jersey.

James was born September 6, 1949, the son of Velma and James Adam. He grew up in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, and was a graduate of Lyndhurst High School in 1967. James attended college at Northwestern Oklahoma State in Alva where he earned his degree in Sociology and Geography in 1972.

James settled in Northwest Oklahoma right after college and chose to work in the oil fields for nearly 23 years. His last employer was Logan Oil. James also did guard work at the Crabtree Correctional Center in the early 80s.

He is survived by his parents, James and Velma Adam; two sisters, Connie and Janet; one brother, Mark; and a number of friends who will miss the "BIG GUY." James will never be forgotten. His character, humor, and heart will never be lost.

Local arrangements were handled by the Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home. No memorial services will be held in Enid, Oklahoma.
