Mary Francis (Walkingstick) Adair
May 14, 1942 ~ August 8, 2021

Mary Francis Adair was born May 14, 1942 in the Honey Hill Community of Adair County, Oklahoma to Thomas "Tom" Lewis Walkingstick and Cora Mae (Cochran) Walkingstick. She passed from this life on August 8, 2021 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 25 days.

Mary worked for Stilwell Foods, Cherokee Nation Industries and managed a Hudson Foods poultry farm. She was active in her community and was a member of the Piney Farm Women's Club, the Westville Athletic Booster Club and the Cherokee Nation Housing Authority Board. Mary was president of the Ramblin' Relics, a member of the Cherokee Nation Housing Authority Board as well as becoming mayor of the city of Westville. She was a member of the Westville Assembly of God.

She was an amazing cook who loved cooking for others and welcomed everyone to her table. Mary loved family gatherings and made everything fun. She was an avid sports fan of OU and the Westville Yellowjackets. She was always found praying for her family.

Those who preceded her in death include her parents and two sons Bobby Adair and Roger Adair.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 59 years Bob Adair of the home in Westville; daughter Anita Adair of Chickasha; grandchildren Nicklas Adair, Teri Adair, Ollie Nelson and Bearton Nelson; great granddaughter Nicole Adair and siblings, many other relatives and many friends also survive her.
