Gwendolyn "Pooie" Abbott, 56, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 in Oklahoma City.
She was born October 8, 1961 to Jerry and Carolyn Guinn in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Pooie was raised in Cromwell and Moore, Oklahoma and was a graduate of Moore High School.

She married Junior Abbott on June 15, 1979 in Shawnee, Oklahoma and they began their family in Oklahoma City, living in Tecumseh, Glendora, California and Bethel Acres before moving back to Tecumseh in 1995 where they have since resided.

Pooie was a registered nurse specializing in Home Health as an Administrator. She also worked as a medical transcriptionist for 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, attending craft shows, especially Affair of the Heart and Black Friday shopping. Pooie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren; they were the focal point of her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Guinn; and sister, Debbie Walter.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Junior Abbott of the home; 3 daughters, Lacy and Clay Little of Bella Vista, AR, Taylor Abbott of Tecumseh, OK and Ryanne Abbott of Tecumseh, OK; 2 sons, Jason and Alison Abbott of Yukon, OK and Adam and Samantha Abbot of Moore, OK; 5 grandchildren, Liberty Abbott, Archer Abbott, Everest Little, Elliott Little and Quinn Abbott; father, Jerry Guinn of Okemah, OK; 2 sisters, Sandy and Dwayne Payne of Oklahoma City, OK and Angie and Mark Shandy of Okemah, OK; and numerous extended family and friends..
